Approach

I believe in the innate knowledge and healing capacities residing in each of us. By helping clients cultivate a deeper, clearer, more aware sense of self, a first step towards accessing these inner resources can be made. With gentle and attentive focus, I work with a holistic, mind-body approach, helping women tune into themselves - their thoughts, feelings, and body-based experiences - so as to build together a highly personalized process for healing, growth, and change.

Whether you are coming to therapy for the first time, or ready to continue on your therapeutic journey, reaching out for support is a significant step. Many of us are stuck in emotional patterns, thought cycles, or body-based reactivity without knowing how to move toward a different way of being. Through the therapeutic process, awareness and insight can be experienced, new aspects of self developed, and that which is no longer needed can slowly release.

As a clinician specializing in women's mental health and wellness, I work with clients at varying stages of life on a large variety of issues. I treat anxiety, depression, low self-worth, issues of identity development, life transitions, as well as career and academic issues, mothering and parenting struggles, and perinatal (pregnancy/postpartum) mood and anxiety changes and disorders.
